I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker in the State of Washington (License #LW60387896) and hold the certification of a Child Mental Health Specialist (CMHS), which requires 100 additional hours of training in child and adolescent development.

I received my BA in Psychology from Western Washington University in Bellingham, and have a Master’s Degree (MSW) from Portland State University. I have over 10 years of experience, and have worked in various settings including inpatient/residential care, university counseling centers, day-treatment centers, and out-patient services.

My approach to therapy is client centered, which means I strive to create a supportive, empathetic, and non-judgmental therapeutic environment.  I draw from a toolbox of modalities including psycho-dynamic, cognitive-behavioral, and mindfulness therapies. In my work with children I maintain a client-centered approach that includes the use of play therapy and many prop-based interventions.
